Is there anyway to change these to IR or HEX?

Well heres the best I can do. We have a Faroudja LD200 we need some discrete codes for. Input 1,2, and 3. Apparently, they exist in RS232 form and we need to get them onto a Niles IntleControl. I am not to familiar with any of this equipment. I am trying to get this info for my boss. He programs the Niles and I do the MX remotes. I was also told this is an old unit and the IR codes don't exist. I hope this is enough details.

I think that some Faroudja equipment can actually teach your remote the codes. You would use the menu on the front of the unit to access them. Hold your remote in front of the unit (there is an IR emitter some where behind the window.)

I don't know if this is true for the LD200.

What you need is a Xantech IRS232A. You program the rs232 codes in the Xantech unit and connect it to the LD200 rs232 port, then you learn Xantech IR codes into your remote. The LD200 was a very basic doubler back in the day, I don't think it has discretes or the above listed way to learn codes into your remote, but it has been a long time since I've seen one and could be wrong.

Here is a instruction of the RS232 codes you must use for control. [Link: meridian-audio.com] Try to get an old IR-Keyboard on ebay for the ASCII Characters they use , learn them to your remote and try to get an IR to RS232 Converter which is offen used for HTPC's to recieve IR-Commands.
