Anyone have tips on remove the cover from an MX-850? It has no screws that I can find, so I assume it has little plastic tabs that need to be pressed to get it open, but I can't tell where they are. Anyone done this before and have tips?

My wife noticed a bit of oil coming out from aroundthe "Menu" button when pressed. I called HTM and they said the remote has no oil or liquid init that could be coming out. We've never spilled anything on it, but I figure if I can get the cover off it I can clean up whatever has gotten in there. It is out of warrranty at this point by 2 months, plus I figur ejust cleaning a little wont hurt anything.

Thanks,

Phillip Moore

Best to send it to URC for repair. Shouldn't cost very much.

If you want to try to open it up see this.

Thanks for the pointer. He must be superman, I cannot get the thing to twist and do anything. I certatily don't want to take it apart to the level of his, I jus twant to pop off the top cover. I'll keep trying and probably eventually send it in for a cleaning.
