I have a Pioneer DVD player without a discrete P-on code. So I have a LCD button with a Macro that has
DVD - Play
DVD - Stop

On my main screen I have a Macro on my DVD LCD button that is like this
Rec - DVD

I want to complete the Macro on the main page so it turns on the DVD player. So I tried this.
Rec - DVD
DVD - P-On (where this is a link to the P-on button I created)

But this isn't working. The P-on macro works fine by itself. But I read somewhere you can't embed macros, so I think that is why I can't do the above. Is what I need to do the following for the Macro for the DVD button on the main page?

Rec - DVD
DVD - Play
DVD - Stop

Basically reference the codes instead of the macro I created?

Thanks,
Josh

Not exactly sure what your trying to do BUT to have the main page say "DVD" then get to where you want you need to:
Power reciever
power tv
receiver to dvd
receiver to DDig
play dvd
tv input to dvd
stop dvd if you want

Hope that helps. You cant have a macro in a macro.

You can not have nested macros (triggering one macro within another) in the MX-700/800/850. You can do that with the MX-900 and up.

Thank you,

Thats what I was thinking, I split out the macros and it seems to work. I found some discrete codes that may help out too.
