I have one. We don't sell many non-pc programmable remotes, but it is nice to be able to update the IR database when we sell one.

The PCL-300 may only be realistic for dealers to have, the one website I found it on wanted $349. I'm not sure if they are authorized resellers, but here is the link...

EDIT: Link Removed - not authorised resellers as far as I can tell and don't want to support unauthorized resellers.

You'd be better served to spend the $349 on an MX-850 and have a lot more versitility, pc programming, and still have the ability to update IR database and archive your config.

I have one of those, just for the fact that we do a lot of MX-650s. what it allows me to do is store several programs and seeing that we use the same components a majority of the time it makes it quick and easy to program the 650.

I agree with Eric. Unless you are an installer, you are better off getting an MX-850. You will save time, money and gain full programming capabilities with an MX-850.
