I was wondering if anyone is experiencing problems with the MX-3000 editor software since the last MS Windows update (april)? I can no longer run the software, it crashes before it completes loading. I'm thinking of re-loading the software, but was wondering if someone has solved the problem without having to do that.

I'd make sure I had a config file backup, uninstall, and then install a fresh copy.

GO to the system restore program and see exactly what program/updates hvae been loaded and let us know what they are. Most updates will also show up in the Add/remove programs dialog, although you must check the show updates check box at the top of the dialog first.
I'm running service pack 2 with no problems but have learned from sad experience to leave the automatic updating of windows off and update manually when needed and tested updates are available.
