.......Ok guys, so when someone comes on a thread
and says bad things about URC, lets all reply
with totally positive things to say. Then they
will feel stupid about bashing them.

the 6% of people who have had no problems with
their remotes doesnt make up for the 94% worth
of people who have.

URC Tech Support:

"ahh do you have batteries in your remote"

Where did you get the statictic that 94% of people have problems. Oh wait it isn't a statistic, its words of anger, nevermind.

If 94% of people had trouble, we wouldn't be discussing this because URC would be out of the custom remote business, but they aren't going anywhere sir.

Rob,

I dont think they are going anywhere. Not the point. I just find that along with the noted problems, URC spends alot of time, money hyping their brand new products and they spend much less enegry fixing the existing problems

So Jumbotron tell us about yourself.

To date you have three post in the same forum trashing URC. You joined the forum three days ago and you want to stir up alot of B.S.

You sound like a complete clown.

I've been selling URC for years and have never had a problem that URC has not been able to fix.

If you want to stir up shit please have the ball to fill out a profile on yourself so we know you're not just some winy hack.

Get em Lee....

URC has great product, some of the best stuff on the market. As with any great product, people will always scrutinize it and look for negative aspects of that great product. There will always be whining. Of course you will find little things you wish were like this, or somone is always gonna say,"look every time i program a variable and make a peanut butter and jelly sangwich while its raining my remote ALWAYS locks up." "what a piece of garbage."
Get a life!! Learn how to use the product or find one that better suits you.

Woo Hoo!!...I have some good news! This software update has fixed my lock up problems and it updated with no surprises.

Why do i think its been fixed?

1)I ran my existing program (contains 45 devices, 2 zones, 3 MRF-300s and still growing) with no problems after a normal download. Previously i would have to open the back pull out the battery and hit a reset button after every download...if i didn't a bit of scrolling thru the pages and it would lock up the remote.

2) I tried downloading 2 old programs which i could guarantee would lock up the remote after a bit of scrolling following a download and no reset button would ever fix these programs. Now they work first go. (fyi In one program i had just added a new device and in the second i had added heaps of new sound files)

So what can i say? I'm a happy chap i really believe URC has finally fixed at least my lockup problems.
