Just wanted to enthuse for a moment about the ffwd and rew buttons in the MX950. I love how they made them two sided, with the option of having one function on each end. I'm surprised that this feature gets specifically minimized in every review of the remote I've read. I don't find the buttons hard to use or unintuitive at all.
One problem I've had with the URC remotes in the past has been figuring out where to put skip/replay functions on the DVR, and where to put play speed, chapter skip, and ffwd/rew on the DVD. There really weren't any good hard buttons to use, and having it up on the LCD was minorly inconvenient and used valuable Page 1 space.
Being able to assign ffwd/rew to the outer edges of the buttons, and the alternate functions to the inside edges has been great for me. It may or may not be popular with installers and their clients, but for this power user, it rocks.

I think you have Eric Johnson to thank for that little detail! :-)
