Sorry for being a little dense, but i still can't figure out what to do with these codes. I can't find any place in MX-300 Editor to enter a discreet IR code.

You can not enter IR codes directly into the 3000's editor. The easiest way to do it if your not a IR Pro is to install the Pronto editor software available in the Pronto area of this web site. This editor does accept the IR codes. Create a button in Pronto's editor, copy the code and paste it in the buttons code area. save the file. Now you can open the MX editor and use the universal browser to open the newly created Pronto file. Find the button you created and drag the ?????_ccf from the action list window to the IR Data column of the button that you want the function attached to in the 3000.
That should do it.
If you need a more step by step help I seem to recall someone writing a very detailed step based post in this very forum but you'll have search for it. Use the Search function and keywords to find it.
