I am trying to program the MX3000 to control the KENWOOD 4080 receiver and couldnt do it .

does anybody else use this receiver ?. IT has a RF remote and a RF receiver wire is connected to the back of the receiver . None of the built in codes worked for MX3000 and so I went with the learning option . The remote does the learning , but when I test the code , nothing happens . I even tried to change the IR/RF output format for the audio in the remote to be only RF as the KENWOOD is RF but with no success .
I would appreciate if anybody could help me on this .

Also I am using the MRF-250 and the lights on it blink when I use the MX3000 to control the receiver , but nothing happens .

The MX-3000 (nor any other universal remote) will not control the Kenwood via RF. RF is only used by the MX-3000 to communicate with the MRF-250. Remove the RF antenna from the Kenwood and check the Kenwood manual to see if there's anything else you need to do to enable IR control.

No, that won't help either. You cannot control the Kenwood directly via RF other than using the Kenwood remote. Have you removed the RF antenna and then tried the Kenwood receiver codes in the IR database?
