I have a MX-500 Remote and also a One For All URC-8811B00
I have just purchased an Intregra AV Receiver DTR - 7.6 and would like to
control it with my MX-500. Is there a way to set it up just using a set up
code or do I have to do it all manually

Congrats on your purchase of the 7.6.

I've installed four of them in the past couple of weeks.

Money well spent!

I would recomend doing this manually with your MX-500.

I doubt if the code sets will offer all of the functions available on the oem remote.

It's not that hard to edit the lcd and learn the buttons of the remote to include the most desired functions.

If you planning on learning zone 2 codes, I don't think they will work with this remote.

I tried on a clients MX-600(same as the 500) and they wouldn't learn.Everything else on the main worked fine.

Sold him an 850 and all is good.
Every day is a good day.......some are just better than others!

Proud to say that my property is protected by a high speed wireless device!

You can learn the zone 2 codes from another remote like an MX-850. But I guess if you had an 850 lying around you would not be using the MX-500. Congrats on the 7.6. I love that beast! That is my favorite receiver. I sell em every time and they never disapoint!
