These are the discrete hex power commands I use on that same projector and they work 100%:

Power On
0000 0066 0000 0010 0061 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0031 0018 0031 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0019 0018 0019 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0019 031C

Power Off
0000 0066 0000 0010 0060 0019 0031 0018 0031 0018 0031 0018 0031 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0019 0018 0019 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0019 0018 0031 0018 0019 0306

These can be copied into a Pronto file, uploaded to a Pronto and then learned from the Pronto to an MX remote.

Sony is one of the best lines when it comes to discrete codes. There cheap little $150 receivers respond to the same off command that i have been using for nearly 10 years.

Edit:
Whoo...
Just checked out your website.

Crestron Integrator needs to be told how to use Hex by a "Tweeter Guy" :) Now that is a stroy for Julie!

Cool fish tanks.

Does anyone have any idea how to get the discreet
codes for this new Sony Projector?

You can get a large list of commands for that device at:

[Link: hifi-remote.com]

They listed there in a form directly usable for building a JP1 upgrade, in case you wanted to program a JP1 remote to use to program some MX remote that doesn't have universal browser.

Elsewhere on that site (and in several threads in this forum) you can find instructions to use MakeHex and Irpanels to create a CCF file with a full set of the codes. The CCF file could be loaded into a Pronto to teach any learning remote (again such as an MX without universal browser). Or the CCF could be directly read (without needing a Pronto remote) to program an MX remote via universal browser.

BTW, that web page includes the two power discretes (commands 46 and 47) that tweeterguy gave you, plus it includes many others you probably want.

tweetertguy... that wasn't a dig at you.

Bernardo said... "It's hard to understand why they sell a $ 9000.00 unit with toggle power and inputs. Tx!"

That is the sound customers make, not industry pros.

I also don't know how to input hex into the mx software...any help?
