I designed an MX-850 for a B$%@#se LS28 today (not an LS28II). The database codes worked flawlessly except for the Volume up/down. It will only go up one increment at a time. Got any solutions or good vol codes for this? many thanks. ps - enough with the funnies, I know an MX with a bose is like putting lipstick on a pig.. or maybe new paint on a gas station bathroom wall.. racing stripe on a Yugo.. a bib on Jaba the Hut.. so don't even try making me laugh (although phony dog poop get's me every time). Let's try to be serious for a moment.

Steve, Does that model have the IR learning capabilities? If so, tap the vol +/- 3-4 times , rather than press-and-hold. I've had much success with that learning technique for commands that I wanted to repeat. Thank you, Damon DG = = = = = http://www.ProRemotes.com - Authorized Dealer & Remote Programming Services

Yes it has that ability. I was trashed for time so I couldn't get to that little experiment (that works sometimes). I'm about 35miles round trip in a direction I don't normally go, so I'm hoping someone has run into this glitch and perhaps has a couple of codes I can beg for so I can return with a viable solution.

Thanks Mike,
When I return I'll have to be ready to experiment with learn tapping and the pronto files. I carry around a TSU-2000 for this purpose. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. No doubt, I'm not important enough to be the only person that's been tormented by this newest Bose anomally.

Steve,
We are really puzzled by this. All of our database codes were checked by BOSE engineers.
Give us a call on the tech support line and ask for me, I am in Glenn's office right now. My cell phone is dead.
Otherwise call me on my 800 number tonight, I'll be up late.
Best Regards,
-Eric

I apologise. I emailed Eric and the guys and thanked them for zapping the problem in short order but didn't return to post the outcome.
Yes, there is a solution. You can email me and I'll send it to you. Otherwise it might even be in the last live update.
