Looks like these'd work fine. I was using variables to manage the X360 power state, though. The good thing about that is that you don't have to have the 3 sec delay in the power-off sequence. The bad thing is that power-on isn't reliable. For whatever reason, chaining two powers in a row to turn off seems to always work OK, but chaining two powers in a row to turn on sometimes results in the X360 coming on and going right back off. Unfortunately, only one press of the power button doesn't seem to always do the job, and extending the repeat doesn't help. Sticking an "Up" before the power also didn't help.
I'll have to play with it more and see if I can get it to work purely using the power code. Failing that, I'll have to put in the dashboard workaround that you did.
