I've finally bought my HDD/ DVD recorder: the Sony RDR HXD710 (UK version with Freeview). The MX-700 was able to learn easily the code in channel 3.
For those interested in discrete codes: I've downloaded the codes 3 for the Sony RDR HX900 from the IR database. And if the most of the codes did work for mine, there were 2 nice surprises: the "HDD" button is the "ON" for the HXD710 and the "DVD" button is the "OFF" for the HXD710. There are not switch codes, they are doing only 1 task (ON or OFF) which is very useful for macros.
hope it will help some of us.

Hi,

I've got a RDR HXD910, very similar to yours. Do you have the discreet codes for the tv/radio toggle button? If so. hopefully it will work on mine too?
