I got this in response to an e-mail I sent to Universal. I'm about to try it, and figured I'd share.

1. ****Please UNINSTALL the editor.****

The following steps are very important. PLEASE DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DELETE
ANY OTHER FOLDERS WITHIN THIS REGISTRY!

2. Click Start then RUN.
3. Type REGEDIT and the REGEDIT window pops up.
4. Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE.
5. Expand SOFTWARE.
6. Expand Universal Remote Control.
7. Delete the MX-800 editor folder and MX Editor.
8. Close the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE root folder.
9. Open the HKEY_CURRENT_USER folder
10. Expand SOFTWARE.
11. Expand Universal Remote Control.
12. Delete the MX Editor folder.

I'm curious to know if that fix actually worked? I have not received this message when learning but if I ever do, I would like to be ready.
