I have a MX-850. I tried downloading the editor from Universal's web under the MX-850 section, but it seems to be an upgrade version. At the beginning of the installation it states "this will perform an upgrade of Orion Editor". If I proceed I get an Error 1316.

Where do I download the MXeditor. Thanks.

Edit: I was able to download the editor from the MX-800. Same version. Is this the same as the MX-850?

Thanks. But I still get an error 1316 with the 850. Can I use the 800?

You can use the 800 editor, but you also shouldn't be getting that error message. Make sure that everything is uninstalled first.

The error code seems to be unique to my computer. I don't get it on my wife's computer.

Mike, what do you mean by making sure everything is uninstalled?

Make sure MXEditor is completely uninstalled before trying to reinstall it. Or, try installing it to a different location than the default folder.

I picked up a Aeros MX-850 at a good price, made the programming cable, but can't find the Mxeditor for the 850. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
