My current MX700 is about ready to die from button stick. I have heard good things about the Harmony 800. My MAJOR (98%) use is for TIVO. Any comments from anyone?

I guess you most likely mean the Harmony 880 or possibly the 890 being introduced at CEDIA, there is no 800

I started with an 880. I now have a MX-850. The IR on the 880 is weak where the 850 is very strong. Plus you have the option to go with RF if you want to. The software may not be as simple at first but once you get use to the 850's editor you will love the flexability. The buttons on the 850 or not as jammed up as they are on the 880 also.
