Hello. I am trying to nail down on/off discretes for an LGVR435 DVDR/VCR unit because I need a foolproof way of activating & deactivating the av system. I came across a excel spreadsheet in the files section of the site and although these sorts of units did not have discretes in 2003 perhaps they do now? The only workaround is using the eject button to turn on the unit but it isn't instantaneous. When eject is pressed the unit 'warms' up for 10 seconds and does not respond to any other ir commands in that time - the macros will take at least 15 seconds and chances are that things will get out of sync really quick and then I'll be getting calls about why the tv is screwed. I'd like to only actually turn on the DVDr/VCR when we want to use it but then getting it off will be a challenge when I shut the system down without discretes. A macro with eject (turn on) + eject (close tray) + power toggle alone will take 11 seconds to complete in a system shutdown macro!

I was hoping someone has a database of LG/Zenith discretes in hopes one will work with this nice unit.
