I have 2 Denon AVR 1905 receivers, a Sony 400 disc changer and a Dish dual receiver (DVR 522) setup in a small room. I have also 2 MX-800 remotes and 2 MX-200 base stations. The base stations are in the same room with the components. I am experiencing some problems setting up the base stations to accept only the intended signal from one remote. I believe I can work through that. However, the Dish DVR522 is a dual receiver where IR controls tuner 1 and RF controls tuner 2. I am not sure how to program one of the MX-800 remotes to send RF to the Dish receiver? Can anyone help? Thanks

The 800 will not send RF to the dish receivers, or any other RF remote device. It only sends out its own RF frequency that the base station understands.

Is IR and RF the only way to access the two tuners on the DVR522 or is there an other way?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Reciever one is code set 1, and the RF side is codeset 2 from the factory, set your #1 remote to code set 2 and then learn all of the commands from there.

*note, do this in another room, you do not want to change the address of the receiver, only the remote.

To change the code set, press and hold the SAT button until all of the device buttons light up, then press 2, then press #, the remote will flash 4 times slowly, then press record. Your remote is now set up for code 2.

Sorry guys I have been yelling about that for months. You can not control the second output with anything but RF and thus the dish remote.
Better is the nemesis of good.
