I use all on all off macros in main which controls a Denon 2910 dvd, an Atlantic Technology amp and tuner and a Ben Q 8700 projector. Can someone tell me an easy way to copy the all off macro to each individual component so that I don't have to go back to main each time I shut down. I know I can manually put it in, I am just looking for a quicker way.
I am also having trouble with the ir codes on the Dennon not taking well and had to learn a number of functions especially the select button. Has anyone else experienced this.
Thanks Joe

Copy the All off macro and just change the part pertaining to the source components, making a macro for each piece.

Yes, i've had more Denon equipment NOT learn properly than the stuff that actually works. Don't get me wrong, Denon is GREAT stuff but when you learn the IR it has the tendency to work 'sometimes' or flash 'multiple pulses'...even from a Pronto or Crestron controllers. I never did figure out why, i just be sure to leave enough time to deal with the issues.
As far as your macro issue...if I understand what you are trying to do, why don't you just alias the ON or OFF button on each device? Pressing ON while on radio for example should just alias to the ON button on MAIN, so if you change the macro on MAIN then you dont have to change it on each device as well.

Joe, There is the copy macro command...it's the "M" with the arrow pointing to it in the Macros & Favorites window. First, select the button you want to put the macro on...then click the "M"...next you'll want to click on the macro that you want to copy...and finally click the "M" again to finish the process. Let me know if this works for you. Thank you, Damon DG = = = = = http://www.ProRemotes.com - Authorized Dealer & Remote Programming

I prefer the shortcut to the main off rather than copying the macro. What if you want to make a small change to the off macro? If it is shortcutted to other devices it's no sweat - if copied then all devices have to be tweaked.

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |
