Many of these thoughts can be found in other threads but I wanted to take a moment at the top of the board to pass on some thanks.

I have been an Mx-3000 user for a little under a year. I am not a programmer or a professional installer, just a lover of gadjets, hater of multiple remotes and don't like explaining how to use my remote to everyone that sets foot in my home.

So first, I would like to commend the makers of the MX-3000 for a product that is easily manipulated to work with any configuration of components. While it is tricky at times to find work-arounds, the fact that you can get work-arounds to work in and of its self, is a blessing.

Second, I want to join in the long lines of people to thank and commend Bracken on his DMX-3000 software. It truly makes the MX-3000 a must for anyone with a mega-changer. In just under one day I have my remote functioning with my collection and it truly was painless.

Finally to the folks at GUIFX, I am using the inspire template which looks and operates wonderfully. For a guy doing this as a hobby who doesnt have the time to spend on developing templates inspire fits me perfectly.

I do not have any vested interest in any of these companies. I am simply a satisfied user that wanted to take the time to say thank you and maybe help those waivering on delving into similar systems to jump in head first.

Thanks to everyone that has been involved in all three aspects!
Steve

I second the motion! (although a deduction should be made for poor RF performance)

The inspre template was made by Guiwerx and sold through Guifx. Noel is a very talented person and has many templates for crestron, URC, RTI and AMX
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

My mistake, In that case many thanks to Guiwerx and Noel. Job well done!!

In regards to the RF it has been a struggle at times but I think I finally have it working like it needs to be so not too big of a deduction.
