I just dusted off the old SL-9000 remote. Replaced the batteries, and began
programing for my new plasma and Dishnetwork 811 HD receiver.
Everything went fine until I tried to designate the "POWER" button as the
memory button to execute my turn on of both the SAT and TV units.
I can successfully use any other memory button (M1-M4) but not the "POWER"
button.

Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So I'm the only one that has had a problem programing the power button on
the SL-9000 as one of the five memory buttons?? I'm also the only one with a
problem transfering the "FORMAT" code from the Dishnetwork 811 receiver
to the SL-9000??

Other than battery replacement, is there any HELP out there??

Thanks Edmund, I'll try it in the morning. I'll let you know how it went.

Thanks again,
Mark
