I am a complete newbe programming the MX-3000 for the first time. I was doing ok, but can't seem to figure out how to get he files for the Bose Lifestyle 30 into the editor software. I am using the C-1024 Ir to Rf converter I purchased from BlueDo, and downloaded the files from their site.

How do I get them into the editor to download to the unit? They seem to be launching an application called Collage Creator and they are Collage Creator Files, but they aren't recognized by the application. Is that what CFF files are?
Totally confused with this one!
Help!
Thank you,
Vincent

You need to use the Universal Browser feature of MX-3000 editor to open the CCF and drag-and-drop commands from it to your configuration. It's in the MX-3000 programming manual, which you should definitely download if you haven't already done so.

Thanks Surf Remote for the reply. I was able to do as you suggested and loaded the codes. Would anyone know how to get a PCF file into the MX-3000?
Any hint is appreciated.

Nevermind! I found a post by Daniel Tonks that explains the procedure. Seems like more work than using the learn function.
What I am looking for are the ccf codes for the Sony VCR SLV-N700 and the Philips DVD 724.
Thank you,
Vincent

Are you programming a Pronto now? If not then the pre-pro codes for any Sony VCR will work fine for you, with discretes as well. If it si for a Pronto then use any of thier pre-pro codes as well. Sony VCR codes have not changed in years.
