I'm new to the MX-700 world, and am about to take delivery of a new Samsung HLR-5078W TV. How long does it take for the codes for a popular (this seems to be selling well) new piece of gear to show up either at URC or here? I'll probably have the learning/Macros done within a week or two of getting it, but I won't have the discrete codes. What's the best way of having them be made available? Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a HLR-4677W set and just programmed a new 950 for it. The URC database had all the codes (including discretes) that I needed.... SJ

Mike,

Try the existing codes in the database. Just because your model isn't listed doesn't mean that Samsung didn't reuse a codeset. :) Give it a shot and let us know which, if any, work for you.

Thank you,
Damon DG

Damon,

Sounds like a plan! Will do exactly that.

Damon's correct. Specifically, I used the codes for the HL-P4674W (BP59-00075A) and Discrete Functions (both of these Models are listed under TV/SAMSUNG). Good luck! SJ
