My 950 arrives tomorrow. I also have the 3000. Any issues with running both editors? Thanks. SJ

I run 2 versions of each and I have seen no issues, I run both regular versions along with both beta versions for the 950 and 3000, and have absolutely no problems.

I also run the B&K keypad editor, B&K Remote Editor, MX 850 Editor, MX 850 Editor Beta, MX Editor for Litetouch which are all essentially the same and they run fine also on the same system.

You shouldn't have problems running any or all of the MX Editor programs on the same computer, even at the same time.

Thanks. Got it running right away. Programming is really straightforward. Really sweet remote. I love being able to control the display color and it is SO easy to read. SJ

Yeah, so far, I have associated different color displays with different things, such as "Watch" pages are all one color, "Listen" pages are another, and the devices within each are yet 3rd and 4th colors. and I have a "Macro in Progress" page that is a 5th color. Most people will consciously or sub-consciously associate colors, so I try to use that to my advantage. Just an idea for programmers everywhere.

Thanks for the "macro in progress" idea! Do you know how to program the AHEAD hard button so that it will chapter skip forward (DVD) or if you hold it will FF? I've tried the options on the macro (HOLD), but can't seem to get it to work. Thanks. SJ

The "Ahead" and "Back" buttons are rockers, so you can program two commands (ie: FF and Chapter Skip) on each. You shouldn't need to use a macro, just hold the FF side of the button down.
