Hi guys. I have an other thread I am still working on, but this is slightly off that topic and I need a little clarification.
I read that the latest mx700 editor ver is 1.12.231 which I am on
I also read that the firmware is 1.98
When I check the firmware ver I get
firmware ver 1.97/ Dec 7 2004
universal data ver 1.69 March7 2005
Am I missing something here.
I did an uninstall and then complete download and then upgrade and I get the same as above.

I just checked my MX-700 and those are the correct firmware ver and the correct universal data.

My recently purchased 700 has firmware v1.98. So maybe firmware is not updated by live update.

v1.98 may only be available on a new remote current live update version is 1.97

That's annoying...latest update, 1.97 as well. I thought this unit had upgradable firmware?

The firmware is upgradeable however it looks like they have not released 1.98 though the Live update system yet 1.98 looks like its only on recent produced remotes. Give them time I am sure they eventually give it to the live update system for general distrubution.
