In case there's anyone looking for this information besides me. I've done a bit ofplaying around and come up with this.
The info for the DVB800 is as follows:
Protocol = NEC1
Device = 4
SubDevice = 250
Functions = 0 - 255
Using this information, I got the output from MakeHex, and cut and pasted the hex results only, one-by-one into Pronto Edit v4. I then dragged and dropped the buttons from Pronto Edit v4 into the MX Editor. It's only possible to do it this way because the MX Editor considers pasted hex codes in Pronto Edit v4 as a learned code.
The hex codes are listed, and results (output) when used on the Teac DV-B800, is recorded in the file I've uploaded here
[Link: home.exetel.com.au]If you want any further information, please ask. I'll try to help if I can, but I'm new to figuring this stuff out and I'm stuggling myself.
FYI... There's a discrete Off (not a toggle) code in there, but as yet there's no discrete On codes available that I've found. I'm still testing and trying many more things, and I'm also waiting on Teac to respond with an answer about the possible existance of such a code, but it's been a month and a half, so don't hold your breath.
As for everything else, they all basically function the same as the learned codes from the remote, so there's not much point in using most of them. There's a couple of interesting ones like the Factory Reset and the System Setting codes, but the Off Only (not a toggle) code is the important one I've found so far.
Cheers,
Ben
PS. When I've totally figured out all there is to know about the DVB800 and it's remote codes, I'll be uploading an MXD file for it.
