Hello,

I have an MX-850 and some of my macros seem long. Can anyone suggest other ideas. Here are some examples.

Turn system on macro:

TV - pw on
AMP - pw on
Sat - pw on
AMP - SAT mode
TV - Input
TV - "1"
TV - Picture Size
TV- "1"
Remote - Goto "Sat" Page 1

Watch DVD (assumes all other power is on):

DVD - pw on
AMP - DVD mode
TV - Picture Size
TV - "4"
Remote - Goto "DVD" Page 1

Any ideas? Maybe hook up hardware differently? Thanks

Dave

Is there a problem with these macros? Are you putting a delay in between the commands?

I find with the 850 at least a 0.5 delay between each command works the best.

I have all my delays set to 0.1 without any problems.

delays - shorter the better as long as the macros are near 100% reliable
