I have an application that I created for my MX-800 and now I want to create a new app. Can I open my existing app in the universal browser and copy a couple of buttons with functions to my new app? Does it matter if they are pre-programmed or learned? I tried dragging & dropping a couple of them to my new app but they did'nt work. They were both pre-programmed buttons.

What you may want to try is to right click the device you want to use functions from, select "export" and export it to an MXD file, open your new program, import the MXD file to the device you wish to use it on...OR...rather than importing it to that device, import it to a new device and use shortcuts, that way you are only bringing in certain functions instead of overwriting it.

Let me know if this works for you.

Thank you,

No, not if they're preprogrammed commands.

Does it matter if they are pre-programmed or learned?

Yes. Learned commands can be brought in individually and copied between devices.

The only way to use preprogrammed commands ias Damon described above. Either replace the existing programming or shortcut to the commands elsewhere. Usually the second option is the best.
