Hi ALL,
I'm getting the MX-700 and am starting to build up a program with the MX editor. I was looking at the files in this forum for the MX-700 and see a lot of MXD files. However there doesn't seem to be any way to get them into the MX Editor. The Editor only seems to be able to read MXF or CCF files.
Am I missing something?
Thanks, Gerry

MXD = MX Device File
Right click on a device in the left pane and select "Import Device". I think this is in the SW User's Manual.

Yep, what Fletch said. The Universal Browser is only for CCF files at this time, unless you're using the MX-3000. With MXD files, you don't import functions one at a time, you import an entire device at once.
Thank you, Damon DG

The MX-700/800/850 Universal Browser can now open MXF files as well. As with CCFs, you can only bring in learned commands. Mike www.SurfRemoteControl.com

Hi ALL,
Thanks for the info. Just after I posted the message and shut down my PC for the day, I realized what it was for.
This forum is great!! I now have the MX-500 and it has worked very well for me. But I can see that compared to the MX-700, the MX-500 is just a tinker toy!!! I almost have everything programmed with the MX Editor already and I don't even have the remote yet!!!
Thanks, Gerry
