Hi ALL,

I just placed an order for the MX-700 and in anticipation I'm starting to play around with the MX Editor. I even read the programming manual!!

I know that when you access the IR Database you can move the button around from one page to another before you save it. But once you save it can you move the buttons around? I know you can make a short cut from one button to another, but I would like to be able to just move the actual programming info from one button to another. In other words, I would like to cut the IR programming data from one button and then paste it to another. I don't seem to be abl to do that, unless I'm missing something.

Thanks,
Gerry

You can move commands around in the LCD button editor by dragging and dropping and the IR code will come with it, even after saving. Preprogrammed code commands on the hard-labeled buttons cannot be moved around. Learned commands can be moved anywhere with Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V.

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the info. Sometime I'm a dummy!! Just before I saw your post I said to myself there HAS to be a way to do that, and I found the LCD Button Editor, and it works just fine!

By the way the MX-700 I just ordered was from you! My order number is 12322. Will it be shipping tomorrow?

Thanks,
Gerry
