I'm just looking for some suggestions as to the usage of the "Favorites" hard button on the 850 (well heck even the 700, or 800, or anything like that) I rarely have a client that want's favorite channels programmed into this, so I usually end up erasing the contents and instructing the owner that the button contains no data. I'm just looking for some creative ideas as to what I might use that for.

i typically only use 1 page of channels like a few hd channels and espn and golf if theyre sports types, or the food network and hgtv if the clients are into that. more than 10 is typically a waste in my opinion

We often program functions you might need for several different components there such as surround modes, channel level controls, aspect ratio, etc...
