Good morning.

Just wondering from the experts opinions on which is better..... the MX3000 or Sony Navitus?

I like the looks of both and the features.

How is the MX3000 in your hand... easy to hold and operate? Any quirks, etc.

Thanks for the help.

I don't know if you read my post, " First Impressions" on the MX-3000 but, I dont think that the Sony can match up. The MX-3000 is fairly light. Go to your local TWEETER they ususally have one in stock to get a feel for the unit. I question why Sony would put non removeable rechargeable NICAD batteries in their unit.

Happy Shopping;

Thanks Jakemon.

I'm going to be ordering one today. Can't wait to get this. I've already started to set up things with the software. Everything that I own seems to be in there. Also, I'm trying to get a copy of the DVD Profiler software so I can get my collection set up on the remote also. Hoping to get it this week sometime, as I'm on vacation and would love to get it set up before I head back to work.

Let me know anything else you can pass along about the remote...

Oh, yeah, do you know if the remote will work RF lights? I have a ceiling fan in my family room and the lights/fan both work with RF... would be great if I could control those also....

Hey, thanks again and I hope you're enjoying the remote.

DVD Profiler is a free download that you can get here.

This will all you to start entering your movie collection in DVD Profiler, this is the most time consuming part of this process (is still very easy). As soon as I am back from the holidays I will send you DMX-3000. DMX-3000 is what you will use to convert from DVD Profiler to the MX-3000 remote.

Thanks.

Already have DVD Profiler and have my collection in it. I'm right now going through and doing the location (Sony) and slot update.

My remote should be here tomorrow (Wednesday). Can't wait to start playing with my new toy.

Thanks. Look forward to getting your program.
