I was recently programming an MX3000 for a home theatre with a Yamaha DLP projector... All of the projectors functions learned into the 3000 with ease except for the power toggle. For whatever reason, the power toggle would learn in successfully, but when tested, the 3000 would only turn the projector off, and not on. This frustration that ensued probably took a good 3 years off my life. Anyhow, I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. Yamaha lists IR codes on their website for authorized dealers, but I thought that you can't edit the codes on the MX3000 like you can with the Prontos. (I've only been doing programming for a few months). Help?
*** My less-than-helpful "supervisors" were clueless on the subject and offered me no help. Our regional technical specialist did tell me that he thinks all newer Yamaha projectors have the same code sets. Is this true?
