I have been looking for a UR that is easy to use for everyone and easy to program. Based on all the user reviews, the MX 500 seems to fit the bill.
I would like to control a:
JVC TV
Sony Home Theater
Pioneer HDD / TIVO
Sony VCR
Based on my research, I assume it will handle all of this equipment, but I am not sure about the Pioneer HDD / TIVO.
Any input would be much appreciated.

The preset tivo code AUX090 will control the pioneer's tivo commands, but some of the dvd commands like STOP, you will have to learn it from the oem remote.
