I am trying to program my Sony Megastor CD Player (300 CD's)- but am having a problem as I have not figured out how to get a specific state.

For example- if I want to repeat a disk, I must press repeat, but if repeat was on, it would change it back to non repeat-

If I had a code to default the player to a 'base' state- that would work.

Any suggestions ?

Marty,

Try to send Program, Program, and then Repeat. You may need to send Stop first. I worked for a company called "AudioEase." This company builds audio/video distribution systems. I used the above commands to put all Sony CD Changers in a "known" stage. I hope this help.

I tried the program button- but it seems that this unit has 3 program possibilites so that each time I hit program it goes from Program 1 to Program 2 to Program 3 and then back to Program 1-
Any other suggestions ?
Is there another unit that holds at least 200 CD's and is possible to program absolutely repeats, group play, etc ??
Thanks again

Marty
