I want to add x-10 control to my SL-9000. Currently, I have a Turboscan line doubler set up as the device controlled by the AUX device button. I want to add x-10 control, but it seems that the codes for that are only available under the AUX device as well. Neither have learning remotes themselves.
Is it possible to use another otherwise unused device (e.g., CBL) to control x-10.

Sure. This is in the manual (can't tell you what page because I have an old manual).

Quite so (clearly marked on page 32). Of course I searched this site and others carefully before posting the request, having sworn I fully read the manual. THanks for the quick reminder.
