I just purchased an MX-1000 and it will be delivered soon. I also just bought a Pentium 4 which runs Windows ME. Am I gonna have compatibility problems with this software and Windows ME?

Any info would be appreciated.

Yes, you are likely to have some compatibity problems with Windows ME which will be fixed in the next release in February. But, it won't hurt to try.

If you have problems, the MX-1000 can be made very functional for all of your components with the on-remote editing and learning functions, which you can then upload to your MXOperatingProgram released in February, and continue to edit from there on your computer.

I have had my MX-1000 for going one one month now, and I haven't even bothered to install the software yet.

I have managed quite well to program in my entire system, complete with macros and punch throughs with no problem.

The buttons are a liitle boring, but I have a fully functional remote.

I plan on waiting until the OS and the software are a little more 'mature' before I start playing around with the software

Guess what? I have a Pronto - it is currently up on Ebay (sale ends sunday if you want to bid on it)because I got the MX-1000.

I can't stress enough how amazing this remote is even with Horrid software and limited buttons (currently).

The joystick and the transport buttons are the key to this remotes sucess. If only they could get the software working better.

If I could figure out the one Macro problem I am having.......
