My top row of buttions won't work on ANY screen except for the MAIN & MAIN1 device selection screens. Running 1.9 s/w. I noticed this after laying out all the buttons the way I wanted, downloading s/w, downloading the ldt file and THEN manually teaching the buttons. I first noticed that the 1, 2 and 3 didn't seem to work on the LCD 10-key (these were the top - left, center & right buttons). Found that NO buttons on the top row will work at all, on ANY of the common LCD buttons! BUT (and this is really funny) - the functions that I assigned to the top-left and center-left LCD buttons are transmitted by pressing the CHNL UP & CHNL DOWN hard keys, respectively. Yet the top LCD buttons do NOTHING!
Any experince with this? Thanks

Early on I had two occasions in which, while I was programing an LCD button, the command jumped to a rubber button. Once to the ch-UP and once to the pre-ch. After trying to erase the command, then trying to erace the entire device, I found that, on both occasions, the only way out was to erase everything and start over from scratch on the entire unit. The man ufacturer said they had never heard of a command jumping to one of the rubber buttons and had me return the unit for exchange. It has not happened on the new one - - - yet.

I have also experienced this problem. In my case, it happened when I deleted all of the buttons from a particular device page and set things up from scratch. My best guess is that the MXOP software gets confused and begins basing the new button IDs at the same range used by the remote's hard buttons. I was able to work around the problem by deleting the buttons which weren't taking programming correctly and re-adding them, then downloading to the remote again. Not a great solution, but at least it means that you don't have to reprogram the whole thing...
