Scott: 1 question: Are you on some mailing list of theirs that you get ads from them?

1 Comment: Yes, by reading that, it does sound like the device buttons can send out up to ten macros each.

But, something still doesn't sit right. Why 10 macros on each device button? All we asked for was one on each. Is someone really going to use 10? That's 100 macros!!! I wonder if it isn't advertising copy gone awry and it still means that the 10 devices can each sent out a macro with power up and input.

Or, check out the difference in these two statements:

1)...ten device buttons send out 10 commands each.

2)...ten device buttons each send out 10 commands.

Still wondering if the ad copy got screwed up.

But, time will tell. If they are listening to us, HOORAY!!! Thanks for the report!

Greg :-)

Well, folks, it seems we have gotten some of of our requests implemented, mostly in the macros area. Some of you will be ecstatic, some will be a bit disappointed that their idea wasn't implemented. But, we DEFINITELY HAVE IMPROVED THE REMOTE from its original incarnation!

I can't say exactly what has changed, but will let you know when I can!

This will be a dynamite remote............ not perfect for everyone (no remote in this price range is), but as I see it, a fantastic "BP" remote!!!

Thanks for all your work on this, Greg. I'll be heading over to their booth at CES on Saturday and see what I can find out, particularly a release date.

Hey, mroll! Thanks!

Will love to hear your report on the look, feel, and functionality of the MX-500 when you get back!

Maybe a mini-review, if they let you fool around with it that long!

Enjoy yourself!

Greg :-)

Oh I can see it now. I SO definitely do not need another remote. But I bet I will buy this puppy. Because you HAVE to give it a try, right? (<- Signs of remotoholism.)

Arjen: You kill me!!! ROFL

Folks, this man has an RTI T2 and still wants an MX-500! Someone get the white coat!!! ;-)

Greg :-)

Come to think of it, I might just choose the MX-500 over the T2, even if I could afford the T2. Hmmmmmm....
