I will transcribe what I believe to be the cure for uploading failures.
On your computers, go to CONTROL PANEL, then to SYSTEM. Go to DEVICE MANAGER. Go to PORTS. Go to COMMUNICATION PORTS. Go to PORTS SETTING. Confirm if your settings are arranged as so:
*Bits Per Second: 9600 *Data Bits: 8 *Parity: none *Stop Bits: 1 *Flow Control: hardware
Then press ADVANCED. Confirm if Receive Buffer says "14," then conform if Transmit Buffer says "16."
If you had to make any changes, please save those changes and then delete your current operating program and re-download from our website your new operating program. Uploading & Downloading may work now.

I havent had any problems uploading, but downloading has had some issues. I had the settings shown above, and it still didnt work. I found that turning both buffers all the way down (Under advanced) solved the problem.
Also, for some reason it only works for me on COM1; It would always fail on COM2.
Hope this helps someone
