OK, I'm an idiot, but I was trying to download the program to the remote. It crapped out in the middle, and the remote just crashed. After modifying buttons with the software, it seemed to be the thing to do.
There are no instructions to speak of for the janked software. Anyway, when I reset it I see tests passing, then Program: Empty! If you turn it back on it prompts you to do a program download. It looks like I need a file on my PC..??..?
I really like the remote, but this software sucks.
Can someone send me a file or tell me where to get one?
Am I high?

You need to download the program from the PC to the remote. I'm not exactly sure how they use their terminology, but either the operating software is attached and download along with your custom file, or by "program" they mean the layout.

If your remote control is reading EMPTY, then just try to download from your pc to the remote control again.

I couldn't download from the PC. It failed every time, but I figured it out. The software is NOT WINDOWS 2000 compatible. Downloaded from 98 machine, and everything is cool.

Nick you say that the program is not W2K compatible. Has anyone else seen this problem. I too am running a 2000 box and haven't seen any other problems then the normal duplicate keys.

I am running W2000 and I have not had these problems. I too think the software is pretty weak, but I don't have a problem up/down loading. I wish you could delete pages and edit the main screen instead of using an alternate main 2 screen.
