Hey folks.

I recently lost all my remote program in the remote when the batteries failed.

I was able to download the basic program from my computer back to the remote. I then completed all my reprogramming. I was able to upload my "Learned" file back to the computer as a back-up, or so I thought. To test it, I took the batteries out and guess what! The entire program was gone again. Anyway, I reloaded the basic software and then learned all the remotes over and saved it again.

Why cannot I download the "Learned Program" to the remote. In addition, does anyone have an idea why I lose the program when you replace batteries.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

Obviously the software interface is a complete piece of sh*t. It looks like a VB programmer put it together in about two weeks and left it for all of us to test for him. Not a bad concept, have hundreds of consumers test your product, find all of the bugs, post them on a website, fix the bugs over the course of months, and release version 1.1. The software is completely unstable, and that is a shame because the hardware is probably the best I have seen.

I would send the MX-1000 back and buy a Pronto, that is what I am going to do.
