Has anyone been able to program the MX-1000 with a JVC DSM-100 Dish Network Satellite receiver/D-VHS? If so, how? Help!

To my knowledge, all JVC satellite receivers are RF-controlled, and are not capable of being controlled by IR-controlled remote controls, including our MX-1000...at this time.

In six months, we will be offering the MX-1000 in an IR/RF form.

RF for what?

RF for receivers that receive signals from UHF remotes, such as the JVC satellite receiver. Thanks Mike Gifford for the update on the IR/RF dual MX-1000 - I hope it is indeed out in 6 months, as I intend to purchase one.

If that is true, it will be the first such product on the market.
