On the main screen how do you remove (delete) the button codes. I can delete the names but not the button. To bad there isn't a help file!

You can't actually delete a button from the main screen.

Thanks Daniel. Very Strange that you can change the size but can't delete. Lets hope the next version of the software changes this. I don't have 2 VCRS nor do have a tape player. Just simple things liek that i would not like to see on the screen.

I believe it's due to the file structure in the MX that you can't delete the main buttons. If you did it wouldn't know what to do with the 4 pages behind it along with all of the associated codes and such. I just changed the ones I didn't want to the triangles and moved them to the bottom row for asthetics.

Yes, it is strange. But, you can configure MAIN1 any way you like and use that as your main page. Since I set it up, the only time I see the MAIN page is when I go into the programming mode.

I was able to configure my main screen by hiding the buttons I did'nt want under the buttons I wanted.
However you may have to make a custom button that is
a dot or a line that could be hid behind a dark space
on the top button.

I used a dot and placed it between text on other buttons. For some reason they'd show OVER the text when downloaded to the remote, but wouldn't be "active" as a button (ie. the functions of the button below took priority). Which, in the end, worked out OK.

I've used the extra buttons on the main page to provide buttons for members of the family. My wife has her page, kids, and guests. So, the main page has all of my components in addition to personal pages. Everyone is so happy that I have customized pages for functions they use often.
