Has anyone out there had success getting the MX-1000 to learn codes for something along the lines of a Sony KPR-53CX35 53" TV? The remote SAYs it's learned all the codes successfully, but a bunch of the buttons don't work at all and some execute the learned function of another button. For instance the TV,Video1,Video2,Video3 input source buttons don't do anything.

Anyone had any luck?

I'll answer my own question here...

This was a problem resulting from my LCD buttons having overlapped other buttons somewhere during the setup process. I deleted the problem button, saved the file to disk, then added the buttons back being careful not to overlap any buttons in the process. I downloaded to the remote and relearned the function and now all works....(Knocking wood)... ;-)
