Just to let all of you know, I actually had a MX-1000 on order and have since cancelled my order. I am going to take my local audio professional's advice, like I should have from the start, and order a Pronto. I have had quite an education on the subject of remote technology only to find that the learning curve on any programmable unit is in the area 100-250 hours of screwing around until you get the damn thing working right. My retailer only deals with the Pronto now because he realizes this, has researched the Pronto thoroughly and can set it up for most systems in about 2 hours......for a measily $150 set up fee. My time is certainly worth more than $.50-$1.00 an hour. I am not saying the Pronto is the only good programmable unit out there, but I don't have the time to mess around with these new units.
