Will I be able to use an MX-800 to control an Xfinity X1 cable box (in IR mode), for which I was supplied with an XR11 remote?

I found this thread where a device file was created with MX-700 software for the Xfinity X1 set top box. I am hoping I can simply load this file to an MX-800 and my problem will be solved. But, the remote I was provided by Comcast is the XR11 and the device file from the thread below was created for an XR2 remote and was uploaded 4 years ago so I'm not sure if it's relevant to my fact pattern.

I don't actually own an MX-800 yet so I cannot try it for myself. Yes, I know how out-of-date the MX-800 is, but the reason I'm hoping this remote will work in my situation is because my setup currently uses two MX-600's and I want to change as little as possible given we're tight on finances right now. (I'm only switching to X1 because I was offered a free upgrade and I didn't realize how much of a pain this would be. I could probably still back out if all else fails). The fact that the MX-800 has an almost identical layout, I can buy a used one for cheap, and is computer-programmable is what gives me hope that this can work.

I've already downloaded the NX-RM820 Editor Software from this site which I've been told will work with the MX-800 remote. I played around a little and was already able to "import" the Cable/195 device that was provided above.

I'm hoping somebody knows the answer to these 2 questions:

1. Will the Comcast Cable/195 device work as a replacement for the XR11 remote? The device file from above is confirmed to work with XR2, but since that was 4 years ago I do not know if the "195" code will work with the XR11 as well.

2. Given that I've got a device file that I can simply import into my software (assuming the 195 device code is still relevant for the XR11), does it matter if my software is not live-updateable? I understand that I won't be able to find Comcast 195 or Comcast 202 in my software's database. But I've got the MXD file from above so that accomplishes essentially the same thing, right? (I just don't know if the "old" software will play nice with a device file that was created with an updated code set that doesn't exist in my version of the software -- my Comcast codes only go to 113).

Thank you in advance to all the knowledgable and generous users who have contributed vast amounts of knowledge to this site. It's been an incredible resource for me both 10 years ago when I bought my MX-600 and now as I'm researching through possible replacement scenarios. I appreciate any help.
