Good morning folks,

I have two MX-850 and they both give me IROUT FAILED and IRAMP FAILED in both Win7 and Win10. How can I solve this issue please?

Also, I've noticed some of my number keys doesn't send the signals, hence my MARCOS don't work either.

Thanks in advance

UPDATE:

I've found the problem.

1. Regarding the IROUT and IRAMP failures, apparently that is a common response to programming the MX850 remote but it nothing to be concerned about.

2. Regarding the number keys not responding to commands. Apparently even though I got the "GOOD" response after learning the code, the GOOD wasn't good at all. I had to learn the codes a few times before it actually worked. I think the original remote batteries weren't as charged as it would've been needed to be.

All is well now!!!

After learning all codes, I recommend downloading the file and doing a visual test of buttons, right then and there (you don't need to be by your devices).

By that I mean, when a code is captured correctly, you can press a button briefly or for a long period, and the transmit icon will indicate exactly how long you've held the key for. But when a code is learned wrong (not necessarily due to anything you've done - it's just flaky), a code may only cause the transmit icon to flicker briefly, despite how long you hold it down, or it may stay lit for longer than you hold the button (looks laggy). In those cases, those buttons need to be relearned.

It may take 2 or 3 cycles of this to get everything correct - and at that point, it's time to go test them on the actual devices!
