Hi all - new here: I opened up my URC MX 800 to clean, and once I put back together the screen test tells me the IRamp, IRout and light failed. True, the backlight doesn't work, don't know what the other two codes mean ( guessing IR code related?). All three checked ok before. There is a spring attached to the small board at the top which I'm guessing needs to make contact but not sure with what. Any help much appreciated. Attaching photo of this see spring at bottom and lights and led at top. Thx so much!

Ok OP here - I figured out half the problem: I was testing without the dark red light cover, was letting light in and the IR functions were failing (duh). Once I installed the light cover IR tests healthy. But test says light: skip. Guessing it's an issue of a contact, tried to make contact between the spring and the light solder points but no go. Any help please advise. I would hate to put back together without the backlight function - thx!!
